We met at 16…
Jon & Ruby first met at The Square in Harlow (RIP The Square) a local music venue where Jon attempted to be the lead singer of an emo rock band (Burn in Reason forever) and Ruby & her friends went to drink under age (sorry Mum). [side note: Jon claims Ruby was a groupie - which she fully denies]
They crossed paths a few times after growing out of the Square and going to different universities but due to Jon’s inability to see through the long hair over his face and Ruby’s inability to leave the North (Leeds Leeds Leeds) they didn’t speak much.
10 (ish) years passed, Jon cut his long hair, Ruby stopped pretending she was a New Yorker and they met again on the 7.19am train from Harlow to Liverpool Street…. One dog and a house later.. here we are.
